5th year- I survived!

Well this is kinda buzzkill, writing about medicine and school but i think i should jot this down, for memory's sake. I'm officially a final year student hoho, and i'll doctor people in less than a year whoaa. And i'll step into malaysian hospital in less than a week, for the first time in my life. ok, not the 1st, considering i was born in the hospital, and the countless times of malingering acts during high school at hospital changkat melintang, and few xrays done but i'll count it's the first as in, the first time meeting malaysian doctors in malaysian hospital. Scary.

So, 5th year's done. Personally i love 5th year a lot, might be the best year in medical school. 1 major rotation that i like, and 2 submajors both i hate but meh 1 month of hell each is tolerable, and 8 minors, some i like some i hate but they are minors, 2 weeks only, no matter how much i hate them i'll make it because of curiosity learning about new things.

But the finals were..beyond words. The 3 weeks of life i wish i'll never have to go through again. How horror? Horror enough to make me lost at least 4 kgs, and i wasn't even trying. I could even feel my femur! I woke up every day with thoughts like, i should've been a fisherwoman (female fisherman duh!), it's late but not too late to be an entertainer, i should go to aqaba and open a sushi-ya, i should get a car and become a taxi driver, i should've been chef wan's apprentice (speaking of chef wan, i was in the same flight with him in my kl-penang flight but damn i was freaking tired i slept the entire time in the gate and in the flight and woke up disoriented in penang! i just wanted to see him in real live :(.. ) , what's the odd of doremon really exists, and another billion of ridiculous ideas based on, i want to get this monster away from me! It was the start of summer so it's pretty hot and uncomfortable, and the exams themselves were !#!*&!^. Btw, to be honest it's nothing near CNS final exam during 3rd year, and i was sure i can pass all  of them since my carry marks were pretty good enough, but i hated that i was confuse lots of time while answering. And some of the questions were awful, not my words, my doctor's. I heard him talking to the person in front of me who asked a question during exam, "blablablabla..but let me ask dr blablblabla. This is an awful question. Really awful. There's no blablabla, at least not that i know." Or maybe i hallucinated. But i swear i heard him said that, but meh all hallucinated people swear their hallucinations are real.

After the exam, i was restless and anxious for mark. Some of the marks were out while i was in Jordan, some of them while i was home. And i was so busy the first week home i was at home only for sleep, so i checked my marks at Apple store in mall because i couldn't wait. And alhamdulillah i made it to the most horror year, final year. And my mark, is better than last year which is nice. My best mark = anesthesiology, my worst mark = of course family medicine. But if i look at it per final only, my best mark = radiology, my 2nd best mark = neurology surprise surprise surprise neuro docs love us!, my worst mark = forensic. got trolled pretty bad, that one, the question is like: in the crime scene, who should be there? cameraman, reporter, forensic doc, policeman, attorney? THE HECK I KNOW! WHO CARES? IN TV I SEE THE WHOLE LOT OF THEM WERE THERE!

So now, i'm home for almost 3 months and i already gained weight back to my normal weight in a week only haha. Just hope i won't swell so much..malaysian food is irresistible, and 4 wedding ceremonies daily really are helping clogging my arteries. Nasib baik sekolah dah bukak.
