Random #9

1. Final year is, erm, just like the other year..waaaaaaa i thought i'd study more, but this laziness ghost is not going anywhere. Good news is I kicked off the year with my fav, o&g, so despite the L ghost, i did open the book to understand my own physiology well. Hope i can do well this time around.

2. I finally man-ed up, and put on braces! Yes, i deserve that standing ovation tq. Apparently my teeth has gone from bad to worse, my dentist invited 3 other dentists (dear patients, i totally feel you now, how you were feeling when doctors discussed about you to us students in front of you and you understood almost nothing!) to look at my crooked teeth, it's a classic crooked teeth resulting from thumb sucking. Thank god they didn't take a photo of my teeth.

3. Braces doesn't hurt! teeth extraction also doesn't hurt! Erm, ok those were lies, but seriously they didn't hurt much. IM injection at the buttock and monthly dysmenorrhea are way way wayyyy painful. But i miss eating without braces :((.... though i did eat everything since day 1, even dried guava.

4. Last year, i really wanna see c/s (c/s= giving birth surgically you non-medic people), and i had chances while in anest rotation. But i didn't give a damn that time, because i focused on anesthesia. This time, i watched a hell lot of c/s, to the point i think i can do it haha. I even got a chance to watch a midline section c/s, which is rare, usually they cut it transversely in lower abdomen. The most exciting part during c/s is when the doc ruptured the membrane, and the liqour splurting out, in a blink, baby'll come out...and the cry of life. It's a miracle! and usually, afterwards, the rest of the surgery was downward boring. sew sew sew sew..

5. I really love o&g, but i have to admit, the job is GROSS. urghh, but there are metoclopramide stashed in every part of o&g department, so i guess i can stand it.

6.  see that pic? yeah finally some credits to us doctors! this is screencap from the raid: redemption. The movie is not as good as i'd imagine, it's really as its title, 2 hours of the raid. and the fights looked planned and arranged, and too much noise while fighting. i expected more..

7. I miss Indonesia, i wanna go there again! With the same 2 bestfriends of mine, again!!! you girls, maybe we should go somewhere next year, after graduating but before we enter the hell on earth..

8. It's depressing to be old. It's more depressing, when you finally have a crush again after a long, long time, and the very next day, you just have to know that he's younger. Noooo!!!!!! I guess i am too old to have a crush..

9. About 9 months left before i left this place for good. I want to build some last happy memories before that, so i'll try looking at it from another perspective; the always smile one. I'll try my very best, not to curse this land so much, and mask my hatred from sheer human eye.
